We have been working with Cherish Integrated Services for the past few months. They have recently opened their first Cafe near the church to provide training and employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities. It’s called Possible Cafe. It is located at 1271 Denison St., Unit 52-53, Markham, ON L3R 4B5. They are open Thursday and Friday, 11:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. They are closed Sunday to Wednesday (time off and training).
While it is a training facility, it is also open to the public and serves good-tasting breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea. We encourage everyone to visit the cafe and support the work of Cherish Integrated Services.
They are always looking for volunteers to help with the training and encouragement of the trainees. If you are interested, please call Esther at 905-604-9290.
