Worship Arts Team 2021

Hello Milliken Church,

Happy New Year!  Praise the Lord we made it through another year!  We have had a trying yet successful 2020 as we shifted from what we have been accustomed to, onto using multiple mediums to bring the Word of God to our community, and proclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord.

We are truly grateful for the team who has been supporting us through the years to help us make a smooth transition.  However, in order to sustain our team another year, we are looking for more assistance to help support our team.  Milliken Church is a place where you can develop and use your gifts for the Lord and thus edifying the church for His glory.  We are looking for more of you to share your gifts to help us become a better team for 2021.

Music at Milliken

Are you gifted with musical abilities, or are you passionate about sharing music with other people? If you are, we hope that you will consider joining one (or more) of our music ministries.

Worship Team

A strong core of volunteers rehearse and lead our congregational singing every week. We give careful intent to include worshipful music from every decade of the 20th & 21st centuries. We also enjoy the classic hymns of the 18th & 19th centuries! Come and appreciate the rich diversity of music we share.

Instrumental Ensemble

Each year we gain additional instrumental musicians who together serve as our music team once per month. If you have played a band or orchestra instrument at the high school level, we encourage you to participate with us. Praise Him all you instruments!

Instrumental & Vocal Soloists

Our church is blessed with a number of talented vocalists and instrumentalists. We worship through their musical offerings on a rotating schedule.

Your Musical Gifts

We continue to watch for and encourage more participants in musical ministry. Perhaps your gifts will become a worship-inspiring offering!

If you would like to be a part of this ministry, speak to our Pastor or any of the members of the music team.

MWMC Choir

Adults of all ages participate in our choir. We rehearse weekly on 3-part and 4-part arrangements of contemporary, gospel, and classic choral music. Our director helps us become better music readers and singers. This year we are focused on good tonal quality and proper technique to produce a joyful (and beautiful) sound.
