MWMC This Week – April 26, 2026

Third Sunday After Easter Morning Worship Service
April 26, 2026
Let’s Revitalize, Milliken!

13 This is how we know that we live in Him and He in us: He has given us of His Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Saviour of the world. 15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. – 1 John 4:13-16

Welcoming Gift at Milliken Church

A beautiful mug, created in collaboration with Milliken Church and Gloria Pickersgill, serves as a welcoming gift for visitors to the church. Our prayer is that every sip will remind you that you are the reason Jesus resurrected.

If you  are interested in purchasing a mug to help support the Youth Ministry, please speak with Gloria Pickersgill after Sunday service or email her at gloria.pickersgill@millikenchurch.org  for more information.

Thank you for your generosity and support. God bless you.

Fundraising for Jamaica at Milliken Church

While we continue to support the Youth Ministry at Milliken Church, we are also supporting Sister Gloria Pickersgill in her fundraising efforts.

The proceeds from this initiative will go toward assisting a single mother of five children in Manchester, Jamaica, who has been impacted by Hurricane Melissa. Your support will help provide essential needs such as food, shelter, and school supplies for her children during this difficult time.

Sister Gloria has thoughtfully designed a variety of stylish t-shirts and mugs centered around community, faith, and outreach. If you would like to participate or learn more, please speak with Gloria Pickersgill after Sunday service or contact her via email at gloria.pickersgill@millikenchurch.org.

With sincere thanks for your generosity and support—God bless you.

Milliken Church Prayer Requests

Our Prayer group is asking everyone with prayer needs to place their requests in the prayer request box so they will be remembered in our weekly prayer meeting. We are here to pray with you and for you. May the Lord encourage you to bring your requests to His altar in Jesus’ name.

Community Requests

Several members of our church family are in desperate need of affordable housing and employment. If you have a place you can rent out or a job lead, please contact Pastor Eddie, Pastor Aza, or Sister Desiree. Let’s show love to our neighbours.

A Special Gift for You: RightNow Media

RightNow Media is an amazing, impactful resource your family is going to love! Please download the media app to access this resource. If you have not received the invite to receive the gift, please eMail AV@MillikenChurch.org

Amroth Building Renovation

The renovations are currently on hold in the Amroth Education Wing. Adam Montessori School and the contractor are still working hard to move forward with these renovations to update and modify some of our spaces to serve the childcare program better.
Please Note: The gym and the kitchen will not be affected, and Rooms A3 and A4 have been reopened. However, until further notice, Room A6 will remain unavailable.

We understand the delay is challenging, but please remember the heart behind this: these renovations are all about making the building more useful, more welcoming, and better equipped to serve both ministry and community needs. We are grateful for your patience and flexibility as we walk through this together. Thank you for your continued support and for helping us see this building not just as walls and rooms, but as a resource God has given us to bless and serve others.

Reminder from the Finance Team

Please remember the following when you make your offering:

By Envelop: Please write your full name (first and last), home address, and email address on the envelope.
