Remembrance Day, Healing & Anointing Service
November 9, 2025
Let’s Revitalize, Milliken!
13 This is how we know that we live in Him and He in us: He has given us of His Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Saviour of the world. 15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. – 1 John 4:13-16

Otherwise, the announcements will not be made on the same Sunday but the following Sunday.
Please Make Yourself Count
Please remember to place a marble into the silver bowl or the appropriate chalice in the foyer every Sunday Service. This is how we count weekly attendance, so please make yourself count.
Remembrance Day
Today, we have spent time remembering those who fought in wars to save others. But on the 11th minute of the 11th hour on Tuesday, November 11, please spend time honouring those who served in the armed forces and died in the line of duty. Let’s also continue to pray for healing and restoration for those who were affected by wars.
Jamaica and World Hope
Let’s take a moment to be grateful for all of our blessings. Let’s pray for our sisters and brothers in the Caribbean, and especially those in Jamaica and Cuba who have gone through Hurricane Melissa. As we pray for healing and restoration, please remember those who have lost their loved ones, their homes, businesses, land and so much more.
Today, we will have a special collection for the restoration effect through World Hope. Thank you to all who have already done something about it. Every prayer and every dollar counts.
Christmas Banquet 2025
Our Annual Christmas Banquet is coming up on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Tickets are already on sale, and seats are limited. The cost is $35 per Adult, and $12 for Children under 12. We would love to see you there, so buy your ticket and invite your friends and family!
Children’s Christmas Play “Away In A Mango”
Our children love the joy of Christmas, and we will be having our Christmas play again this year on Sunday, December 21. Rehearsals have begun. For details, please get in touch with Pastor Aza or sister Desiree. We would love to see you there in support of our children. Mark your calendars, invite your friends and family, and we will see you there.
Operational Christmas Child
Yes, it’s that time again. Christmas is around the corner before we can even blink. It is time to start gathering items to fill the shoe boxes for less fortunate children. Let’s put some smiles on the faces of children around the world. For more information, please talk to the pastoral staff.
The shoe boxes are here, and collection has also begun. Fill boxes are to be returned by Sunday, November 27.
We are also calling upon our congregation to form a team to assist with the processing of the boxes. We have confirmed to be at the processing centre at Unit 2, 6300 Edwards Blvd, Mississauga (Highway 401 / Hurontario) on Monday, December 10, 6-9 pm. Spaces are limited (16 left), please contact Pastor Aza as soon as you can to register if you are interested. As parking is limited on-site, please plan to carpool.
We are also on a waiting list for Saturday, November 29 and December 13. Once we are notified of availability of those dates, we will announce it through our eNews. Please make sure you are subscribed.
Homebound Member’s Luncheon
The Lord has blessed our church with a wonderful congregation, and we are in many locations. Some members of our congregation have been homebound, and we would like to offer a luncheon especially for them. The lunch will be on November 29th at 12:30 pm.
Amroth Building Renovation
The renovations have begun in the Amroth Education Wing. Adam Montessori School is leading these renovations to update and modify some of our spaces to serve the childcare program better. Here’s what that means for us:
- The gym and the kitchen will not be affected at all, so those spaces will continue to be available as usual.
- Rooms A3, A4, and A6 will be unavailable for about two months while the work is underway.
We understand that change can sometimes be challenging, and we know this will mean adjustments for some of you who use those rooms regularly, but please know the heart behind this: these renovations are all about making the building more useful, more welcoming, and better equipped to serve both ministry and community needs.
We are grateful for your patience and flexibility as we walk through this together. If you usually use A3, A4, or A6, leadership will be working with you directly to make sure you have a good alternative space.
Thank you for your continued support and for helping us see this building not just as walls and rooms, but as a resource God has given us to bless and serve others.”
