Let’s Revitalize, Milliken!
13 This is how we know that we live in Him and He in us: He has given us of His Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Saviour of the world. 15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. – 1 John 4:13-16

Otherwise, the announcements will not be made on the same Sunday but the following Sunday.
Please Make Yourself Count
Please remember to place a marble into the silver bowl or the appropriate chalice in the foyer every Sunday Service. This is how we count weekly attendance, so please make yourself count.
Christmas Banquet 2025
Our Annual Christmas Banquet is coming up on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Tickets are already on sale, and seats are limited. Cost is $35 per Adult, and $12 for Children under 12. We would love to see you there, so buy up those tickets and invite your friends and family!
Children’s Christmas Play “Away In A Mango”
Our children love the joy of Christmas, and we will be having our Christmas play again this year on Sunday, December 21. Rehearsals will begin today October 26. For details, please get in touch with Pastor Aza or sister Desiree. We would love to see you there in support of our children. Mark your calendars, invite your friends and family, and we will see you there.
Operational Christmas Child
Yes, it’s that time again. Christmas is around the corner before we can even blink. It is time to start gathering items to fill the shoe boxes for less fortunate children. Let’s put some smiles on the faces of children around the world. For more information, please talk to the pastoral staff.
The shoe boxes will arrive soon, and collection will begin shortly.
We are also calling upon our congregation to form a team to assist with the processing of the boxes. We will have a confirmed date to visit the Processing Centre soon. It would be between November 27 and December 13. Stay tuned for more details.
Milliken 45th Anniversary
Milliken is celebrating our 45th Anniversary next Sunday, November 2, at 10:10 am. Join us as we celebrate all that the Lord has done for us over the past 45 years. We thank God for His blessings and ask that He continue to bless us as we share the Gospel of Christ in our community. Our guest speaker will be former Senior Pastor, Rev. George Pryor.
Special Lunch With Pastor George Pryor
In conjunction with the 45th Anniversary special event, we would like to take this opportunity to give a special token of thanks and farewell to Pastor George and his family, as we were unable to do so in the way we would have due to COVID. As such, we will be collecting a special offering between now and then. If you are able and would like to contribute to this special offering, please indicate this specifically on your offering envelopes or in the message section of your online contribution.
The Special Lunch will take place immediately following the Anniversary Worship Service on Sunday, November 2. It will be a semi-potluck, and we are asking the congregation to bring in side dishes, appetizers, and desserts.
Day Light Saving Time Ends
On Sunday, November 2, Daylight Saving Time is coming to an end. This means the clocks “fall back” one hour, and you get an extra hourof sleep. So, change your clock Saturday night before going to bed.
Pastor Eddie Absence
Pastor Eddie is officiating a wedding this weekend out of town and will be returning later today on Sunday. If you need any assistance, one of the pastors on staff can assist you. Thank you for your understanding.
Homebound Member’s Luncheon
Milliken is honoured to serve those who have been homebound or unable to come to weekly services and meetings. We will be hosting a special luncheon especially for them on Saturday, November 29th at 12:30 pm. For further details, see Pastor Stephen or Pastoral staff.
Amroth Building Renovation
The renovations have begun in the Amroth Education Wing. Adam Montessori School is leading these renovations to update and modify some of our spaces to serve the childcare program better. Here’s what that means for us:
- The gym and the kitchen will not be affected at all, so those spaces will continue to be available as usual.
- Rooms A3, A4, and A6 will be unavailable for about two months while the work is underway.
We understand that change can sometimes be challenging, and we know this will mean adjustments for some of you who use those rooms regularly, but please know the heart behind this: these renovations are all about making the building more useful, more welcoming, and better equipped to serve both ministry and community needs.
We are grateful for your patience and flexibility as we walk through this together. If you usually use A3, A4, or A6, leadership will be working with you directly to make sure you have a good alternative space.
Thank you for your continued support and for helping us see this building not just as walls and rooms, but as a resource God has given us to bless and serve others.”
