Wave Reloaded Community Event – Saturday, July 13, 2024
Milliken is hosting “Wave Reloaded” this coming Saturday, July 13, 2024, 12-5 pm. This is a Community Connection Event that will be spearheaded by our Generation Now Group (our children, youth and young adults).
Thank you to all who signed up! We are still looking for volunteers, especially our youth, to help and prepare for this event. If you are interested in volunteering Our Planning team will gladly
Donations can be given in a few ways:
- Submit your Donation by envelope with your full name and address or full name and envelope number. Then write “WAVE YOUTH” in the section “Other” on your envelope, and place it in the offering basket.
- Submit your donation to a WAVE Youth volunteer helper. Today’s volunteer is Joshua Ngai (Encourage him to stand and wave). He will be stationed at the sanctuary doors after service so find him and give your gift there.
- Give your donation online at www.millikenchurch.org/give. Select the option “Other” and type in “Wave Youth” and the funds will be allocated accordingly if you would like to sign up as a volunteer.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2O24 (VBS)
VBS returns for another fun-filled adventure! This year’s theme is “SET SAIL”. Program is for children who would have completed Grades JK – 6. Join us on August 13-16 for our “sailing” with VBS (Vacation Bible School)! The time will be 6:30-8:30 pm, and it is FREE! Our theme this year is “SET SAIL”! Registration begins Sunday, June 30 @ noon. Early Bird ends on Sunday, July 21 @ 11:30 pm (if you sign up early, your child gets a prize at the end of the VBS week!), and Registration ends Sunday, August 4 @ 11:30 pm.
Also looking for Volunteers, including high school volunteers (CREDITS FOR VOLUNTEER HOURS)!

Ministry at Willowdale Welcome Centre
We have been afforded the opportunity to minister through worship and the Word at Willowdale Welcome Centre Wednesday mornings from 10:00 am – 11:30 am. If you are available and would like to serve in this capacity, please contact Pastor Eddie or Pastor Aza for more information.
Lead “Family” Open Invitation
As the year, unbelievably, comes to a close, we need a new round of Leading “Families” for our Family Sundays. As you might have noticed, we are looking for family units, meaning you may not have to be related by blood, but by association, also. Even if you have participated before, we welcome your participation. Please contact Pastor Stephen to let him know your availability so that we can plan for 2024.

Worship Arts Team – We Want Your Help!
Have you been looking for a way to serve? Our Worship Arts team needs you! We are looking for servant leaders who are willing to serve on our Sunday Morning Worship and Audio Visual Teams. If you have the ability to sing, play an instrument (any instrument), or would like to learn how to serve in the Sound booth to learn various skills including sound board training, video/camera operation and working with Worship Tools to present words and scripture on the screen for worship service, please see Pastor Aza or Brother Chris.

- A place to develop your gifts and be equipped to serve.
- Wonderful team of believers who support each other and pray for each other.
- Youth Alert! If you are looking to gain credits toward your volunteer service, this is a great way for you to earn those credits!
