Best Years Bus Trip
Bus leaves on Tuesday, June 25 @ 8:45 am, with or without you. Please be on time! Bring your meds that you need. There will be water and snacks provided on the bus, but you can bring your own. Dress for the weather, and come out and have a safe and enjoyable trip.

TASTE OF ASIA 2024
Taste of Asia will be happening on the Pacific Mall grounds June 28-30.
This year, we will be present at Taste of Asia to actively demonstrate our vision by “Growing Outward”, sharing God’s light and love to our community. We will have a booth at the event and we are inviting anyone who is willing to join us for this event. Attention all GenNow Students, we will have our annual parking lot fundraiser in addition to our presence at the event so we will need volunteers to supervise the distribution of permits and collecting funds from this event. THIS WILL COUNT TOWARD YOUR HIGH SCHOOL VOLUNTEER HOURS! Pastor Aza would like to meet with ALL Parents of our Children and Youth to meet by the Grand Piano immediately after service for details.

Wave Reloaded Community Event – Saturday, July 13, 2024
Save The Date! Milliken will be hosting “Wave Reloaded” on Saturday, July 13, 2024, 1-6 pm. This is a Community Connection Event that will be spearheaded by our Generation Now Group (our children, youth and young adults).
Thank you to all who signed up last Sunday! We are still looking for volunteers, especially our youth, to help and prepare for this event. If you are interested in volunteering Our Planning team will gladly
Last week, we announced that our donation drive starts this Sunday, and we appreciate any support you can give. Donations can be given in a few ways:
- Submit your Donation by envelope with your full name and address or full name and envelope number. Then write “WAVE YOUTH” in the section “Other” on your envelope, and place it in the offering basket.
- Submit your donation to a WAVE Youth volunteer helper. Today’s volunteer is Joshua Ngai (Encourage him to stand and wave). He will be stationed at the sanctuary doors after service so find him and give your gift there.
- Give your donation online at www.millikenchurch.org/give. Select the option “Other” and type in “Wave Youth” and the funds will be allocated accordingly if you would like to sign up as a volunteer.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2O24 (VBS)
VBS returns for another fun-filled adventure! Program is for children who would have completed Grades JK – 6. Join us on Tuesday to Friday, August 13-16 for our “sailing” with VBS (Vacation Bible School)! The time will be 6:30-8:30 pm, and it is FREE! Our theme this year is “SET SAIL”! Registration begins NOW. Early Bird ends on Sunday, July 21 @ 11:30 pm (if you sign up early, your child gets a prize at the end of the VBS week!), and Registration ends Sunday, August 4 @ 11:30 pm. CHINESE ENGLISH CORNER
Our Chinese English corner will resume again tonight, and Dr. Joan Chung will be our Chinese Language teacher teaching us Mandarin. If you are interested and would like to join, please reach out to Pastor Aza and we will get you connected with our Zoom Link.
Ministry at Willowdale Welcome Centre
We have been afforded the opportunity to minister through worship and the Word at Willowdale Welcome Centre Wednesday mornings from 10:00 am – 11:30 am. If you are available and would like to serve in this capacity, please contact Pastor Eddie or Pastor Aza for more information.
Lead “Family” Open Invitation
As the year, unbelievably, comes to a close, we need a new round of Leading “Families” for our Family Sundays. As you might have noticed, we are looking for family units, meaning you may not have to be related by blood, but by association, also. Even if you have participated before, we welcome your participation. Please contact Pastor Stephen to let him know your availability so that we can plan for 2024.

Worship Arts Team – We Want Your Help!
Have you been looking for a way to serve? Our Worship Arts team needs you! We are looking for servant leaders who are willing to serve on our Sunday Morning Worship and Audio Visual Teams. If you have the ability to sing, play an instrument (any instrument), or would like to learn how to serve in the Sound booth to learn various skills including sound board training, video/camera operation and working with Worship Tools to present words and scripture on the screen for worship service, please see Pastor Aza or Brother Chris.
Here are 3 reasons why you should join:
- A place to develop your gifts and be equipped to serve.
- Wonderful team of believers who support each other and pray for each other.
- Youth Alert! If you are looking to gain credits toward your volunteer service, this is a great way for you to earn those credits!
