Celebration of Life Service for Lucilla Bosma

We are sad to announce that our dear sister, Mrs. Lucilla Olivia Bosma passed away early Wednesday Morning.  We offer our most heartfelt condolences to the family.

Visitation times will be held on Tuesday, May 23 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and another time from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Ogden Funeral Home  4164 Sheppard Ave. East, Scarborough, ON M1S 1T3
A Celebration of Life Service will be held here at Milliken Wesleyan Methodist Church on Wednesday, May 24 at 11:00am.

The Local Church Conference:

Will be held on Wednesday May 24th, 2023 in the Sanctuary, 6:30pm – 8:30pm. The package will be available for pick up on Sunday May 21st at the  church welcome desk. * Department leaders, please have all reports submitted by Thursday,  May 18 at 5pm.

English-Chinese Corner

Have you ever desired to learn another language,  but did not have the opportunity or resources to do so?  Here’s your chance!  “Chinese-English Corner” is fellowship time we are having here at Milliken on Thursdays at 6:30pm,  where we will connect and partner with people of our community, and it’s FREE!

Weekday Podcast: 4:19 Fisher of People

Pastor Eddie hosts a weekday podcast called “Fisher of People”. He will be LIVE on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter every Weekday at 4:19 pm to help us focus on becoming dynamic Disciples of Jesus, and how we can lead others to follow Him. In-Person Bible Study

In-Person Bible Study has resumed to take place on Thursday mornings at 10:30 am. Topic is 12 More Women of the Bible”.

Prayer Requests

Our Prayer group is asking everyone who has prayer needs to put their requests in the prayer request box so that they will be remembered in our weekly prayer meeting.

Sharing your experience of how God is present in your life, and the peace that you have found in Christ can encourage others to share their testimony. If you are interested in sharing your testimony during a Sunday Service, please feel free to contact Pastor Eddie or call the Milliken Church at (905) 475-3579 so that we can plan accordingly.

Tithes and Offerings can be submitted in person or online. If you would like to arrange a personal drop-off aside from Sundays during services, please call 905-475-3579. Please make an appointment before a drop-off is made to ensure someone will be present to receive it. Leave a message and someone will confirm your arrangements.  Worship Arts Team 2023

We have been blessed with a wonderful team of volunteers who have committed their gifts to serving the Lord in this capacity. We would love for more of you to join our Worship Arts and Media Teams. Here are 3 reasons why you should join:

  1. A place to develop your gifts and be equipped to serve.
  2. Wonderful team of believers who support each other and pray for each other.
  3. Youth Alert! If you are looking to gain credits toward your volunteer service, this is a great way for you to earn those credits!
