Jesus is the reason for the Season!

International Youth Event!
The International Youth Fellowship is resuming their annual New Year Festival celebrating youth, culture and a New Year through dance and music. The Festival will take place on January 7, 2023 at 7:00 PM at Meridian Hall (1 Front St E, Toronto, ON M5E 1B2). Tickets are available for free at https://iyfcanada.ca/iyf-new-years-festival/
Income Tax Receipts
Our finance team would like to give a friendly reminder that anyone who would like to receive a tax receipt for their financial contributions MUST put all Cheques and Cash in an envelope with FULL NAME AND ADDRESS. We have received several unlabeled envelopes and without a name and address, there is no way of knowing who has made a contribution. Unlabeled envelopes go directly to the general fund, so we ask you to PLEASE label your envelopes before placing them in the offering box.
First Responder Class
We are looking for people who would be interested in taking defibrillator classes that will be offered at Milliken. Milliken has a defibrillator machine that in the event of an emergency, we need trained individuals who are capable of usuing it to help save a life. There is no charge for the classes, but only 14 spots available. If you would like to sign up, please contact Sis. Jocelyn, use the online form or call the church office at 905-475-3579.
Family Sunday at Milliken!
Milliken will have FAMILY SUNDAY every month on the last Sunday of the month. Each month, we will have 1 family who will “lead” the service. This is a time for you to also invite others to join in and worship with us!
Worship Arts Team 2023
We have been blessed with a wonderful team of volunteers who have committed their gifts to serving the Lord in this capacity. We would love for more of you to join our Worship Arts Team in the new year. Here are 3 reasons why you should join:
1) A place to develop your gifts and be equipped to serve
2) Wonderful team of believers who support each other and pray for each other
3) Youth Alert! If you are looking to gain credits toward your volunteer service, this is a great way for you to earn those credits!
For more information, please visit www.millikenchurch.org for details on these areas of service.
Offering
Tithes and Offerings can be submitted in person or online. If you would like to arrange a personal drop off aside from the above options, please call 905-475-3579. Please make an appointment before a drop off is made to ensure someone will be present to receive it. Leave a message and someone will confirm your arrangements.
