Mission Sunday

Today is Mission Sunday and we have a special guest from Compassion Canada, a Christ-centered organization that partners with people to sponsor Children in impoverished areas to help them have life-changing opportunities to bring them out of poverty.

*Compassion Ambassador, Rev. Donnett Thompson-Hall will be our guest speaker and vocalist.

Details of how you can become involved will be explained so you will not want to miss this opportunity.  This is your chance to show your compassion to those who need it most.

MWMC Youth Event

Attention all Milliken Youth!  We are going out for a special Youth event on Dec. 17.   Join us at ACTIVATE at 2:00 pm.  Our time slot begins at 2:30 pm, so we must be there on time.

Location is 1980 Eglinton Avenue East Toronto, ON M1L 2M6.  Please confirm with Pastor Aza by Dec. 11 if you plan to attend.  If you would like to bring a friend, please let us know.  We are booked for a party of 10 so if the number must increase we need to know as soon as possible.

Income Tax Receipts

Our finance team would like to give a friendly reminder that anyone who would like to receive a tax receipt for their financial contributions MUST put all Cheques and Cash in an envelope with FULL NAME AND ADDRESS.
We have received several unlabeled envelopes and without a name and address, there is no way of knowing who has made a contribution.  Unlabeled envelopes go directly to the general fund, so we ask you to PLEASE label your envelopes before placing them in the offering box.

First Responder Class

We are looking for people who would be interested in taking CPR and defibrillator classes that will be offered at Milliken. There is no charge for the classes, but only 14 spots available. If you would like to sign up, please contact Sis. Jocelyn, use the online form or call the church office at 905-475-3579.

Christmas Weekend

Advent ends with Christmas, and we will have a 2-day celebration this year!
Christmas Eve Service: Saturday, Dec. 24 @7pm
Christmas Day Service: Sunday, Dec. 25 @10am (Special Time)

Family Sunday at Milliken!

Milliken will have FAMILY SUNDAY every month on the last Sunday of the month.  Each month, we will have 1 family who will “lead” the service.  This is a time for you to also invite others to join in and worship with us!

Worship Arts Team

We have been blessed with a wonderful team of volunteers who have committed their gifts to serving the Lord in this capacity. We would love for more of you to join our Worship Arts Team. Here are 3 reasons why you should join:

1) A place to develop your gifts and be equipped to serve
2) Wonderful team of believers who support each other and pray for each other
3) Youth Alert! If you are looking to gain credits toward your volunteer service, this is a great way for you to earn those credits!

For more information, please visit www.millikenchurch.org for details on these areas of service.

Offering

Tithes and Offerings can be submitted in person or online. If you would like to arrange a personal drop off aside from the above options, please call 905-475-3579. Please make an appointment before a drop off is made to ensure someone will be present to receive it. Leave a message and someone will confirm your arrangements. You may also visit us at www.millikenchurch.org and select GIVE. Your contributions are greatly appreciated.
