It has been brought to our attention that for several weeks, our weekly email link to connect directly to our Livestream and online bulletin has been giving us technical difficulties and has caused disruption for easy access.

We apologize for the inconvenience and we are working towards finding a solution as soon as possible.
Until further notice, please note you can still view our Livestream by going directly to our YouTube and Facebook Live channels by typing in Milliken Wesleyan Methodist Church in the search bar and our bulletin is posted directly on our website under the selection “Bulletins” where all weekly bulletins are posted.   We will notify those of you who are connected to our email list when it is functional.

“Fall Back” Into Daylight Saving Time!

Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, November 6 @ 2 am  (NOT NEXT WEEKEND BUT THE FOLLOWING!)  Remember that if you have to set your clocks back manually to do so before you go to bed.

Paint the Café with LIFT!

On Saturday, November 12 from 1:00pm-3:00pm, LIFT (Ladies In Fellowship Together) will host a special event, “Paint The Café”.  Ladies will be painting their own canvases and lunch will be provided. Sign up will be on Sunday, October 23, 30 and November 6.  Cost is $10.

Mid-Year Local Church Conference 

Milliken will hold a Mid-year Local Church Conference in the sanctuary on Wednesday, November 16 at 7:00pm.  We are calling every member and non-member parishioner to be in attendance.   Please mark your calendars accordingly.

IMPORTANT VOTE: 
Johnston Sisters’ Foundation vote will be held Wednesday November 16 @ 8 pm immediately after conference ajourns.  Two of Five Board Members need to be Non-Members!

Happy Anniversary Milliken!

Milliken will celebrate our 42nd year of service on Sunday, November 20, 2022.  Please mark your calendars accordingly.

Operation Christmas Child is back!

Operation Christmas Child returns another year.  Join with us to help a child in need experience the joy of Christmas with a special gift.  Boxes are available at the back of the sanctuary with special directions of how to correctly pack these gifts.  For more details see Bro. Lance or Sis. Marjorie for details. All boxes must be submitted by November 13 at 12:00pm.

Christmas Banquet is Coming!

Milliken kicks off the first Christmas event in 2 years, and we invite you to our annual banquet on Saturday, December 3.   Tickets will be $30 for adults, $10 for children.  No tickets will be sold at the door and must be purchased by November 20 at the latest. Don’t miss out!

Christmas Weekend

Advent ends with Christmas, and we will have a 2-day celebration this year!
Christmas Eve Service: Saturday, Dec. 24 @7pm
Christmas Day Service: Sunday, Dec. 25 @ 10am (Special Time)

Congratulations to the Dennis Family!

Our Church family is growing!  We are proud to announce that the Dennis Family (Esha and Isaac Dennis, who joined our church family a few months ago, have welcomed a brand new baby girl, Emma Esther Dennis on September 3rd! Her Grandparents, Colbert and Maya Dennis couldn’t be more pleased with their new granddaughter and we at Milliken Church rejoice with them.

Family Sunday at Milliken!

Milliken will have FAMILY SUNDAY every month on the last Sunday of the month.  Each month, we will have 1 family who will “lead” the service.  Pastor Eddie and his family will start first!   This is a time for you to also invite others to join in and worship with us!

We have been blessed with a wonderful team of volunteers who have committed their gifts to serving the Lord in this capacity. We would love for more of you to join our Worship Arts Team. Here are 3 reasons why you should join:

1) A place to develop your gifts and be equipped to serve
2) Wonderful team of believers who support each other and pray for each other
3) Youth Alert! If you are looking to gain credits toward your volunteer service, this is a great way for you to earn those credits!
