MWMC This Week – May 2, 2021

May 2, 2021

Welcome to Milliken!

The cross is not the suffering tied to natural existence, but the suffering tied to being Christians. The cross is never simply a matter of suffering, but a matter of suffering and rejection for the sake of Jesus Christ, not for the sake of some other arbitrary behavior or confession. – Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Church Renovations – Our church has been under renovation for much needed repairs to our Sanctuary, and select areas within our church. Due to recent COVID-19 restrictions, our projects have been put on hold until further notice. We will keep you informed of any updates concerning this matter.

Worship Arts Team We have been blessed with a wonderful team of volunteers who have committed their gifts to serving the Lord in this capacity. We would love for more of you to join our Worship Arts Team. Here are 3 reasons why you should join:

1) A place to develop your gifts and be equipped to serve
2) Wonderful team of believers who support each other and pray for each other
3) Youth Alert! If you are looking to gain credits toward your volunteer service, this is a great way for you to earn those credits!

Here are some of the ways you can volunteer:
• Worship Leader
• Worship Team Vocalist
• Worship Band Instrumentalist
• Scripture Reader
• Audio/Visual Director
