MWMC This Week – February 14, 2021

February 14, 2021

Welcome to Milliken!

God’s Valentine gift of love to us was not a bunch of flowers; It wasn’t candy, or a book to while away the hours. His gift was to become a man, so He could freely give His sacrificial love for us, so you and I could live. He gave us sweet salvation, and instruction, good and true– To love our friends and enemies, and love our Saviour, too. So, as we give our Valentines, Let’s thank our Lord and King; the reason we have love to give is that He gave everything.

Grocery Gift Card Food Drive Milliken Church will be starting an initiative during the Lenten Season to give back to our local community for those who are in need. We will be starting a Grocery Gift Card Food Drive. Due to concerns with the spread of COVID-19, collecting food for those in need has made many reluctant to give. However, Gift Cards are a safe and excellent way of helping those in need get what they need to nourish their families. You can contribute your gift by giving to our benevolent fund that can be found on our website under GIVE and those funds will be used to purchase grocery gift cards that will be distributed to those in need. We could really use your help to be the hands and feet of Jesus as we show HIS love by giving in this capacity.

Worship Arts Team We have been blessed with a wonderful team of volunteers who have committed their gifts to serving the Lord in this capacity. We would love for more of you to join our Worship Arts Team. Here are 3 reasons why you should join:
