Benevolence Fund During this pandemic, we acknowledge that these times have hit some harder than others. There is a family within our church community who is in need; we are asking for your help. Please go to, select GIVE, then donate under OTHER as BENEVOLENCE FUND. Let’s bear each other’s burdens together.

Offering During COVID-19 If you would like to send us a financial gift, visit us at and select GIVE. No donations can be accepted in person at this time. Thank you for your cooperation.

November: A Call to Prayer During these uncertain times, we need God’s direction. We believe in the power of prayer. Effective November 1, Milliken Church will enter into a month of prayer. There will be a calendar with daily directives that will outline what to pray for each day. This calendar will be sent via email and posted on our website as soon as it becomes available. As God moves, let us be submissive the leading of His Holy Spirit as we seek His will for our church together.

Getting Back to the Basics You are invited to join our online Bible Study which will take place weekly on Wednesdays at 7:30PM starting on November 4, 2020.

We will study about the heart of this church program – The Bible. The study is based on The Bible Course which explores the BIG STORY that unites all 66 books of the Bible.

Many find the Bible to be complicated and it can be difficult to know where to start. Maybe you’ve been part of a Bible study group and want to build your confidence so you can study the Bible on your own, or maybe you need help connecting together the bits you’ve been reading. Wherever you are in your Bible reading journey, this study has something new to teach. Please call 905 475 3579 to sign up for the class.

An Urgent Message from the LBA re COVID-19

Dear Milliken Wesleyan Methodist Church Members and Friends,

We were informed by the TCCC (Tenants at Milliken) today (October 22, 2020) that they received notice from the Public Health yesterday (October 21, 2020) that a few of their members were tested positive for the Corona Virus.

In light of the above, and in the best interest of our staff, volunteers, tenants, members and visitors to the church, effective immediately, we have decided to close the church building until November 14th inclusive. As a result, there will be no in-church service until Sunday, November 15, 2020. We will continue to provide on-line service to ensure that our spiritual needs are met.

Although we do not have joint service with the TCC church and the possibility of contracting Covid 19 as a result of the above is low, with an abundance of caution, we feel that this is the best decision at this time. We are also recommending that anyone who visited the church between Sunday, October 4 to the 18, 2020 should monitor themselves for symptoms for the recommended period of time.

The building will be undergoing intensive sanitization by the janitorial service and will remain closed to all until Sunday, November 15, 2020.

You are encouraged to follow the guidelines of the Public Health Authorities to be safe. Continue to wear masks, social distance, sanitize your hands and call the Covid hotline 416-338-7600 or Telehealth Ontario 1-866-0000 or if you have any of the following symptoms:

  • Fever 37.8 degrees Celsius or higher
    New onset of cough
    Muscle aches, joint pain, fatigue
    Difficulty breathing (shortness of breath)
    Sore throat
    Runny nose
New loss of taste or smell
Gastrointestinal symptoms (e.g. nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea)

Thank you for your patience and co-operation as we navigate through this pandemic. Should you require further information or pastoral care, please call 905-475-3579 and leave a message for Pastor Aza.
