Thunder Bay

This past week our own Brian Pitre joined a small Mission Work Team on the site of Transformation Wesleyan Church in Thunder Bay. They replaced the balcony railing in its sanctuary. This will allow additional seating space for the many people the Lord is bringing to them for worship and discipleship. Pastor Nathan writes to express his thanks to Brian, and to our church for supporting this work…

Greetings Milliken Church Family!

We were so blessed to have Brian Pitre with us this week. He is one talented worker, and greatly helped our team of installers with the new balcony railing. We were grateful to meet him and get to know him. Now that this important safety feature is installed, we expect to be granted permission to open the balcony to attendees regularly. Praise God! It will extend our ability to minister to this community.

Speaking of extended ministry, let me share a few words about our mission to the northern Ontario First Nations Community of Marten Falls. We now have a young man here (in Thunder Bay) who is growing his heart for the people of Marten Falls. We are praying about an open door for him to move there this summer. We might be able to implement our original plan for an ongoing ministry there! Please keep praying with us about this. We need the Lord’s wisdom about if, when and how to move forward. Our plans may sound good. But His plans are always perfect.

Thanks again for all you do to support this ministry.
