Pastor Nathan Maskery leads the Transformation Wesleyan Church plant in Thunder Bay. This week he wrote with an update (and an invitation)…
Dear Milliken Church Friends,
Things are going very well here. Thank the Lord. During the last two months we are averaging 84 people each Sunday morning. A lot of new people come and continue to return. Some Sundays our attendance is in the high 90s and our main level sanctuary feels crowded. It reminds us of our need to complete the new railing in our balcony – so people can sit there too!
Last month a couple of skilled construction workers from our Powhassen Wesleyan Church offered to come and complete this work for us! They are coming in February. Praise the Lord! They have also said that if anyone else wants to come and help, they would appreciate the assistance. Would someone from your church be interested in this as a one-week mission work project? If so, we would welcome and take care of you while you worked. We plan to start the work on Monday, February 10th.
We are also encouraged at how many people are coming to our “Life Groups” on weeknights. We have three separate groups now running. Although our financial situation is weak, God’s work in the lives of these people is very strong. And we are trusting the Lord to continue to provide. Please remember us in your prayers. Thank you for your ongoing partnership.
God bless! – Pastor Nathan
