Season of Kingdomtide

During these weeks the Church around the world celebrates the coming of God’s kingdom on earth. Markham Pregnancy Centre

Last week we received an update from this local Christian ministry serving our community…

Dear Milliken Wesleyan Methodist Church Family,

Here at the Centre August was a time to rest and restart the ministry. Our Board members and staff hosted our annual vision and planning day at the end of the month. In it we shared our vision for our roles and the ministry of the Centre in the upcoming year. We also spent time reflecting on the past year. We look forward excitedly to the future and commit ourselves to God’s life-affirming work.

Our meeting welcomed new team members: Melissa, who joined us as our new Administrative Assistant. Julie, who now takes up the role of Client Services Director, and Vicky, now entering our Board as the Fundraising Lead. Each one has a love for the Lord and for the people who come to us in crisis. Although we don’t know what God has in store for the future, we know that He will provide for our needs and continue to bring those in need of Him to our Centre.

Please remember us in your prayers. Your pastor assures us that any donations you make to the Centre through your church will be forwarded to us as well. We look forward to the future and thank you for your ongoing partnership.
