Season of Pentecost
During these weeks the Church around the world celebrates the presence and work of the Holy Spirit in our midst. He draws us in faith and transforms us to become more like Jesus Christ. May you sense the Spirit’s work in and around you as we worship God today.

Nicaragua
Missionaries Ryan & Sarah Schmitz serve as Global Partners in Matagalpa, Nicaragua. Recently, they send an update…
Dear Milliken Church,
We are rejoicing to see the funds for the Las Colinas School Well continue to roll in. Even a Christian school in Ontario raised funds through its sixth grade class! Last week we broke ground to begin the well’s construction! We are moving forward in faith that the funds will all arrive soon!
Two of our Nicaraguan sisters who have gone to plant a church in Honduras are back visiting us this week. They have been amazing to pioneer a work in Honduras and are really blessing the community of La Ceiba! Here at home, our schools have completed the first of their two yearly semesters.
During this one-week break, Micha & Eva, our older daughters are attending a Youth With A Mission camp that encourages teens to participate in evangelism and missions, personally. One of the teachers is our school is currently battling cancer and another teacher in Tipitapa has temporarily stopped teaching because she has given birth to her first child.
Nicaragua continues to endure political tension. But despite this, the churches continue to expand their work of evangelism and discipleship. We pray that all churches in this land will unify and not divide, like so many other social institutions already have! Church unity is a sign to the world that Jesus brings people together even when nothing else will.
Thank you for your constant prayers and support. We are blessed with an incredible support team and cannot thank you enough. God bless!
