Best Years Fellowship will take place on Tuesday, April 16th at 10:30am. This month’s guest presenters, from Markham Stouffville Hospital, will share strategies to use to avoid “falls.” They will also describe what to do if you experience a debilitating fall!

Spring Bus Trip Our Best Years Fellowship will host its annual spring bus trip on Monday, June 3rd. It will explore the terminus point of the Underground Railroad near Niagara-on-the-Lake, and the chapel which marks the spot. The trip will also include related sites and lunch. Speak with Satie Pokhai to learn more or to reserve your seat.

Japan

Missionary Robin White serves with Global Partners in Nagoya, Japan. He wrote this week with another ministry update…

Hello Everyone!

A year ago, when I started slowly winding down my English ministries in preparation for the end of my term, I knew I was entering a time of transition. But I had no idea how big a transition. As I wrote earlier, I am getting married to Yoko Matsaka at the end of this month. Yoko loves the Lord and has a heart for missions. We are looking forward to starting a new chapter of life and ministry together.

My current missionary term with Global Partners ends in June, and we will move to Canada this summer for a year of re-connecting with churches. We will be seeking support for the next big mission project in Japan: Drawbridge Creations. This will be a web-based manga outreach with the three-fold purpose of reaching the unchurched, resourcing the Church, and empowering Christian artists to bridge the culture between Jesus and Japanese culture!

Funding will be required to start up this evangelistic business; hiring artists and translators, web design hosting, promotion and office equipment. Let me invite you to check out the promo material we have already started to post. It will explain more about what we need to begin this innovative mission. Learn the many ways you can help by visiting www.DrawbridgeCreations.com

Thank you for being part of this adventure through your prayers and financial support.

Sincerely, Robin
