Season of Pentecost
During these weeks the Church around the world celebrates the presence and work of the Holy Spirit in our midst. He draws us in faith and transforms to become more like Jesus Christ. May you sense the Spirit’s work in and around you as we worship God today.

Family Movie Night Families of all ages are invited to join us on Friday evening, August 24th at 7pm for a free showing of Prince Caspian. This action/adventure film is based on the Chronicles of Narnia book of the same name, written by C.S. Lewis. Come take in its excellent and compelling message.
Thunder Bay Mission We’ve been invited to visit our church plant in this city and assist them with a weekend community festival on August 24th-26th. We invite you to complete the insert in the bulletin today and make your commitment to participate in missions!
Holy Land Trip Options Recently two sister churches declared their plans to take tour groups to the Holy Land during the next year. Islington Evangel Centre will travel in October 2018, and the Tamil Christian Church will travel in March 2019. Both groups are open to include fellow Christians interested in participating with them. See the flyers on the back Sanctuary table for more details.
For the safety of our missionaries, this week’s update cannot be posted online.
