Season of Pentecost
During these weeks the Church around the world celebrates the presence and work of the Holy Spirit in our midst. He draws us in faith and transforms to become more like Jesus Christ. May you sense the Spirit’s work in and around you as we worship God today.

Time to Pray Each Wednesday at 7:15 pm we host a time of praise and prayers in the Fellowship Room. We invite you to write your prayer request on a card from the pew rack in front of you. Place it in the church-shaped box at the front of the Sanctuary. It will be remembered this week. Next Sunday our morning worship service will include a special time of prayer for the nation of Canada, its people and its leaders.
Vacation Bible School will begin in less than a month. Many volunteers are still needed. Please speak with Pastor Cymone today if you could assist with this weeknight program.

Dear Milliken Church Family, God is at work, opening doors that we can barely believe. Last month we traveled to the First Nations Community of Marten Falls in remote northern Ontario. There we met again with our friend who is a believer. With his help, we met and gave encouragement to several members in the community who are in search of answers for life problems.
We also met a schoolteacher from southern Ontario who each year visits the community to care for and teach children. Her generosity and love inspires us to want to do more. Many resources seem to pour into this community. However, their need for the living God remains unmet.
We are making plans to offer the Alpha Program – which explains basic concepts of who God is, who Jesus is, and how these realities offer healing and good power into the lives of those who embrace them. Please pray for this community, and for a growing trust with this people each time we visit.
We appreciate your ongoing interest and partnership. We will keep in touch with other ways you might join us in this ministry going forward!
In Christ, Pastor Nathan
