Robin White serves as a Global Partners Missionary in the nation of Japan. Recently, he wrote with an update on this ministry…
Hi Everyone!
This past month marked a special occasion for me: ten years since I first arrived in Japan! Hard to believe it has been that long. There have been some challenges, but the blessings have outweighed the hard stuff. I have much to be thankful for, but your support is one of the big ones. Thank you for praying and giving to this mission.
As we enter a new year, one line from 1st Corinthians 9:24 is on my mind: “run in such a way as to get the prize.” I feel like this will be my theme this next year. I want to have a clear vision, and keep my eyes on Jesus, even in the challenges ahead. 2018 will be a year of transitions. Next month our national church body will elect a new president and leadership team. This could change many things.
Also, I have less than a year left in my current term of service. I am seeking the Lord’s vision, direction and wisdom for many decisions. Please pray for more missionary workers to come to Japan. Please also pray for my English students – especially for the salvation of those who don’t know Jesus yet.
May God bless you this year!
-Robin
