Robin White serves as a Global Partners Missionary in the nation of Japan. Recently, he wrote with an update on this ministry…

Hi Everyone!

This past month marked a special occasion for me: ten years since I first arrived in Japan! Hard to believe it has been that long. There have been some challenges, but the blessings have outweighed the hard stuff. I have much to be thankful for, but your support is one of the big ones. Thank you for praying and giving to this mission.

As we enter a new year, one line from 1st Corinthians 9:24 is on my mind: “run in such a way as to get the prize.” I feel like this will be my theme this next year. I want to have a clear vision, and keep my eyes on Jesus, even in the challenges ahead. 2018 will be a year of transitions. Next month our national church body will elect a new president and leadership team. This could change many things.

Also, I have less than a year left in my current term of service. I am seeking the Lord’s vision, direction and wisdom for many decisions. Please pray for more missionary workers to come to Japan. Please also pray for my English students – especially for the salvation of those who don’t know Jesus yet.

May God bless you this year!

Soup & Sandwich Lunch will be served today following the Worship Service. We invite you to stay and enjoy the warm food and fellowship.

Best Years Fellowship will host their next meeting this Tuesday at 10:30am. Mr. Chad St. Pierre will visit with a presentation on “Understanding Sleep Apnea.” Bring a friend. Newcomers are always welcomed.

Close to Christ our Lenten Worship Services will continue this Thursday. The 9am Worship Service is for those who work nights or are free during the daytime. The 7:15pm Worship Service is for those who work days. Please also consider keeping our congregation-wide fast on the Thursdays of Lent. Let us draw Close to Christ and find new power and insights for our lives.

Multi-Church Movie Night On Friday, March 2nd, we will host a special screening of Adam’s Testament a full-length, feature film retelling Jesus’ parable of the Prodigal Son. This spiritual-warfare themed movie will include a special Q&A with two of the actors who will attend our screening! The event is free, but free-will donations will be accepted.
