Missionaries Luke & Megan Adams serves the Czech Republic with Global Partners. They recently posted an update on their ministry…
Hello Friends,
This past week we took a little time off to host Megan’s parents. They have come to visit us for the first time here in the Czech Republic. So nice to have some help with the children. And they loved meeting their granddaughter for the first time!
Next week our church will hold its annual summer camp. Many of the teenagers associated with the church’s programs here in Podebrady will come to it. And it’s not unusual to see many take some big steps in opening their hearts to God. Please pray that this will be the result of our camp.
Please also pray for Luke’s floorball teammates. These young men live in the town where we lived during our first here in the Czech Republic. Although it is an hour from our current home, the guys are amazed that Luke still values them enough to drive back once a week to play with them. In some ways, it has deepened the friendships. We also pray that this connection will lead to some spiritual benefit for them.
Thank you for always remembering us in your prayers and your giving. We appreciate your partnership!

Canada 150 Celebration Social will take place today after the worship service, with a time of refreshments in the gym. This is the third in our series of Summer Sunday Stick-Around Socials. Take advantage of these excellent opportunities to know someone you’ve only greeted once or twice before!
Devotionals Available The newest issues of Our Daily Bread and The Upper Room are now available at the back Sanctuary table. One per household please. This allows others to benefit as well.
Time to Pray our Wednesday evening time of intercession and sharing gathers in the Fellowship Room at 7:15pm on this weeknight. If you have a request or praise to share, we invite you to write it on a card from the pew rack and place it in the miniature church on the far right corner of the platform.
Thank you to everyone who attended last Sunday’s reception for our graduates. They were encouraged and grateful for your expressions of goodwill and love.
Next Sunday we will host a Bridal Reception for Natalie Dukhailall and her fiancee Kingtell Senior. This will take place after the Morning Worship Service. Come express your congratulations through greetings or cards.
