Nicaragua
Ryan & Sarah Schmitz serve as Global Partners Missionaries in the Nicaragua. They recently wrote with an update…
Greetings Milliken Church Friends,
As another year ended in Nicaragua there was a great reason to celebrate. A Mission Team from Wyoming came to the Las Colinas School in Matagalpa and built a new playground for the children. This was a welcome blessing to the children, who started their next school year last week! All four of the Wesleyan schools here are up and running, and all four of our children are also back in their daily classes.
The national Wesleyan Church of Nicaragua hosted its annual Pastors’ Retreat, Annual District Conference, and an Ordination Service during the past month. We praise God for what He is doing to grow the Church in this land. We also praise God also for the vision these national leaders have for the Gospel in their country.
Thank you for your ongoing partnership with our work here. Every day we see lives being changed by the hope that Jesus brings. God bless you in the new year as well.

Love Feast We invite you to remain after worship this morning to participate in our Mid-Winter Love Feast. Meet a new friend as you break bread together in Christian fellowship.
Valentine Sharing Project Tomorrow groups of church friends will visit our Homebound members and share words, songs and prayers of love with them. If you would like to participate, speak with Pastor Pryor today.
Best Years Fellowship will meet this Tuesday at 10:30am. This month our guest speakers will be Don & Hazel Hamilton. They will share about their Visitation Ministry to the Homebound. You will be inspired by their encouraging stories of care for others. Bring a dish to share in the potluck lunch that will follow the meeting.
Men’s Breakfast will take place this Saturday at 8:30am. We will discover how the life of Joseph offers us faith and life insights for living as men today.
