Missionary Robin White serve with Global Partners in Nagoya, Japan. This week he wrote with the following update….
Hi Everyone!
The new year has started well her in Nagoya. Thank you for your prayer during the past two months. I felt God’s power as I shared Christmas celebrations with our students and served the Immanuel Church by preaching and leading services on two special dates.
A few new students have joined our English classes. Please pray for these students. And pray that I will find more creative ways to share my faith in Jesus through the lessons that I teach. Next month, one of my students will be visiting Toronto. He is a musician, who will be visiting Canada, along with his wife. They hope to gain some experiences in the professional music world while they are there. I am encouraging them to visit your church. Please watch for them and greet them with the love of Jesus.
Every opportunity we have to express love and kindness can be a great way for people to warm up to the Gospel. God bless you in this new year. Thank you, again, for being a partner with this ministry! -Robin
Visitation Team Meeting All persons involved in visiting our homebound members are encouraged to meet with Stephen Rollins immediately following this morning’s worship service. This brief gathering will help us strategize and plan for our visitations to the homebound during the coming weeks and months.
WKFM This morning our children will learn more about the work of our missionaries in the nation of Mozambique. If you would like to give to support this mission, please mark your envelope WKFM and place it in the collection plate during the offering.
Tai Chi for Beginners continues to meet each Tuesday evening at 6:30pm. We invite you to this simply yet helpful time of stretching and low-intensity exercise. Maintain your agility and flexibility in spite of the winter cold.
Men’s Breakfast will be this Saturday at 8:30am. Men of all ages are invited to join the fellowship and the conversation as we take important lessons from the biblical character of Joseph.
Church Membership Class will take place on Saturday, January 28th at 10am. Speak with Pastor Pryor today if you would like to learn more about attending.
