Dear Milliken Church Family,
2019 was our hardest year since arriving almost 8 years ago. It felt “heavy,” like hiking each day through muddy trails! But through it all, you have been an amazing support – watching our ministry as well as our children grow through each experience. Thank you.
The Christian leaders here are amazing. They memorize the Scripture fervently and study it consistently. They travel widely by bus and on foot. They preach boldly in evangelistic public meetings and in humble church buildings. They long to be theologically trained and are taking new sustainable steps to see their fellowship grow. They even have leaders who are called to become missionaries!
Our children have become bi-lingual leaders among their friends. Our older two daughters spent their summer vacation (December & January) serving on staff at a Youth With A Mission (YWAM) camp in Diriamba. They will start their 3rd & 4th years of secondary school this month. Our son will soon turn 13 and begins his first year of secondary school too. Our youngest is entering Grade 6 and continues to be a joyful free-spirit to us all.
During the next two months we will welcome four mission teams, three of them from Canada! We are also praying for more Global Partner teammates to come here on a short-term mission assignments. (These are typically six-months long.)

Young Adult Fellowship will take place this Friday at 7pm here at the church. Join us as we begin a new topic of study and conversation on the book: The God of Second Changes. Speak with Pastor Axel to learn more.
Mid-Winter Soup & Sandwich Lunch will take place next Sunday (February 9th) after the Morning Worship Service. Please bring sandwiches to share. Our Social Committee will provide the soups and drinks. Find warmth in the fellowship of our time together!
Winter Family Outing will take place next Sunday after the Soup & Sandwich Lunch. Stay with us for a short training session on “How to Encourage Your Child Toward Baptism” followed by a fun trip to the local Reptile Zoo! Speak with Pastor Cymone to learn more, or to sign up!
