Season of Kingdomtide

During these weeks the Church around the world celebrates the coming of God’s kingdom on earth. The colour green on our altar reminds us that the Lord brings growth, health, and fullness of life to all enter this kingdom. Burkina Faso

Last week we received an update from Rev. Windell & Yolie Etienne who are in Haiti, making final arrangements for their missionary appointment to Burkina Faso…

Dear Milliken Church Friends,

We were richly blessed beyond all measure last month while attending a major conference in Port Au Prince for the restoration of our Hatian homeland. With one heart the believers there were interceding incessantly for the transformation needed in Haiti.

While attending this event, I had the honor of addressing the people and describing our plan to move to Burkina Faso as Global Partners missionaries. Men and women of prayer, Christian representatives of the Haitian parliament, some well-known pastors, and even the Korean missionaries here stopped the meeting to lay hands on me in prayer. They prayed that God would open the doors for us to safely reach that land. They prayed that God would use us powerfully when we arrive. Here is a picture of that powerful moment! What a privilege it was to us.

We often sigh when we think about our upcoming move to Burkina Faso. We are anxious to be at work there, along with others who serve Jesus with great integrity. If all goes according to plan, our move will take place at the end of this month.

Thank you for joining our team through your prayers and financial partnership. Pray that our Burinabe visas will arrive, along with the other international documents still in process.

– Windell & Yolie Etienne
