Burkina Faso

Windel & Yolie Etienne are preparing to leave their homeland, serving as the first Haitian Global Partners missionaries to Burkina Faso. We hope to partner with them in prayer and financial giving in the days to come. They wrote last week with an update…

Dear Friends,

We are very thankful to Almighty God for the progress we are making in our fundraising campaigns. We are very blessed to have many friends – like you – on our team, who keep praying for us. Thank you for joining us in this plentiful harvest.

Last Sunday we shared at our home church Petion-Ville Wesleyan Church. We preached the Gospel and challenged fellow Christians to join us financially. Promises of faith were made and people have started giving. We have received commitments from many sister Haitian churches as well. Praise the Lord! We are now planning to move to Africa in late July. This ministry will be quite expensive, but our hearts are broken by the love of God for the lost people of Burkina Faso.

Please pray for the tiny minority of Christians there. Many of them face intimidation and waves of persecution. More than ever, we must pray. God’s blessing to you all. We love you in Christ!

– Brother Windel & Sister Yolie Etienne
