Local Church Conference will take place this Wednesday at 7pm. All members are encouraged to pray and read through the advance packet that is now available at the back Sanctuary table. This meeting will include our annual leadership elections.

Harp Music Concert Don’t miss this unique and beautiful classical music concert taking place here in our Sanctuary this Saturday evening at 7:30pm. The Toronto Harp Society is offering a limited number of specially priced tickets ($10 each) to the first 25 Milliken Church attendees who reserve their ticket in advance! Speak with Pastor Pryor today to make your reservation.

Bringing the Scripture to Life Next Sunday morning at 9:30am, we will host a class on how to read the Scripture aloud for others. Come discover (and practice) how you can bring a Scripture reading alive for others! Speak with Chris Lai to learn more.

Ryerson University.

Evangelist Jessica Barnett serves with Power to Change Ministries on the campus of Ryerson University. She wrote recently with a ministry update…

Dear Milliken Family,

As another school year ends here, we have three students going on a six-week mission trip to Morocco. We are glad to see this ministry continue, even though we will not be able to join them this time.

We also have a student who is taking a foreign trip through Ryerson, to India. She is a believer and also wants to share her faith in Jesus with the people she will interact with while there. Praise the Lord. Please pray for these four students: that God will give them boldness to share, protection from danger, and a powerful experience of God’s love as they make connections in these lands.

Back here on campus, one of the girls I discipled this past semester has just been baptized! She is the only Christian in her family and it was a big deal for her to invite her family to the baptism service. Please pray that Jesus will continue to reveal Himself to this family and change their hearts toward Him!

Please also pray for Alethea, another student I have discipled. She is seeking wisdom and discernment for some important conversations she needs to have with her family members.

Thank you for your prayers and support.

– Jess
