Missionaries Luke & Megan Adams recently sent their final report from Podebrady. They thank all who have supported their ministry and offer this final update from the field…

Dear Milliken Church Friends,

Our time in Czech was an adventure. We experienced new places, met new friends, and saw people make a decision to live for God. What a special two years in our lives! Now, as always, we look forward to what’s next. Remember Lucka, the new believer who was diagnosed, then successfully treated for cancer? Her parents have been coming to church with her ever since that crisis. Her father has now made a decision to follow Christ and her mother is on the verge of this discovery, while she attends a Bible study with one of our fellow missionaries! Also, Lucka just experienced Christian baptism. Praise the Lord!

Before we left the country, Luke returned one last time to Jilove and met up with floor hockey playing friends. They spent several hours saying their goodbyes. It was a really meaningful time. He left knowing that their opinion and conceptions about Christianity have been changed for the better because of our relating. During the months of January & February we will be going through the debriefing process for missionaries exiting their time of service. We hope to connect with some of our supporters and express both gratitude and final updates on the work in the Czech Republic.

Please pray for the team still in Podabrady, along with the many young adults at Remedy Church who are growing and maturing in their faith. What an amazing work God is doing in their fellowship. Please also pray for our family. We have all been sick with colds and Baby Lucy is particularly miserable. We need everyone to be well as we readjust to the Canadian winter and strive to find housing, schools for the boys, employment in New Brunswick, and all that goes into a move.

Thank you for being a faithful part of our support team. We thank God for you and pray for you too.

– Luke, Megan, Cole, Jensen & Lucy Adams

Our Sympathy extends to Rev. Ira Taylor at the passing of his younger brother Rev. Wingrove Taylor last weekend in Indiana. Please remember the family in your prayers. Rev. Wingrove Taylor was a long-time and respected minister in the Pilgrim Holiness (Wesleyan) Church in the Caribbean. We thank God for the legacy of faith his ministry has provided.
