Church planters Luis & Ana Cordero moved to Toronto last year. Originally from Costa Rica, this couple has followed the Lord’s leading to engage in Christian ministry and establish Spanish-language churches in many places. They love to share how Jesus is La Respuesta (the Answer) to many of the questions we face in life.
The Corderos have now partnered with the Oakwood Wesleyan Church to being a new Spanish-speaking Wesleyan ministry to the west side of Toronto. We give thanks for the energy and zeal they have for the Kingdom. If you know any Spanish-speaking people who are without a faith community, Luis and Ana would be very pleased to make a connection with them.
Please take time after our morning worship service to meet Luis and Ana. And please pray for this couple as they live and work here in our city. We look forward to all that God will do in and through them.
Time to Pray We invite you to share a prayer request or praise by completing an information card from the pew rack in front of you. Place this in the church shaped box at the front right corner of the Sanctuary platform. All requests will receive prayer during this Wednesday evening gathering.
Celebration of the Arts This annual concert of diverse music will take place here in the Sanctuary this Friday (August 25th). Come out to enjoy the many creative forms of expression the Holy Spirit has given to the people who know and love Him. Bring your friends. You will be inspired and uplifted through all that is shared.
Family Summer Fellowship Next Sunday all families with children are invited to stay after church for a time of food and fun in the gym. Speak with Hyesung Kim to learn more.
