Japan

Missionary Robin White serves with Global Partners in Japan. This week he posted an update on his service…

Hi Everyone!

Thank you for your prayers during these summer months. Last month I served in three different places: Nagoya, Kyoto and even far away Cambodia!

First, we hosted our home church’s two-day children’s camp here in Nagoya. Twenty-four children attended. Most were from unchurched families. Many made their first connection with us through my English classes. It is awesome to see that group coming to church events and hearing the Gospel. Please pray that God will continue to work in the lives of these kids and their families.

After the children’s camp, I was off to Kyoto, where I taught an English Bible study at the Immanuel Kyoto – Nishi Church. I’m filling in there every other month while their resident missionary Andrea is back in the United States for her furlough. There are a bunch of non-Christians connecting with the church through there. Pray that God will continue to work in their lives.

Finally, last week, I traveled to Cambodia for the regional meeting of missionaries. This year we focused on gaining vision clarity. This is an ongoing process, particularly in Japan, where we have a small team but big dreams.

Please continue to pray with us for vision and direction. Please pray for next week’s Youth Camp in Nagano. Please also pray for our next English Bible Study which will start in two weeks.

Thank you again for your prayers, financial support, and encouragement!

-Robin
