The Czech Republic

Hello!

Our biggest news is that we are moving! Our Global Partners Team leaders have decided that we are now ready to assist with the church plant in Podebrady. Podebrady is a town of about 13,000, about 30 minutes east of Prague. The church there is called “Remedy.” It is pastored by Tomas & Misa, a Czech couple who came to know Christ as adults. Podebrady is a bit larger than where we live now. It will allow us to live in the community without always having to commute into Prague for school, groceries, or other supplies. Please pray that the Lord will help us find the right apartment and make this transition along with our children. It will create some extra one-time moving expenses, but we believe the Lord will provide.

Earlier this month we had the privilege of attending a conference called SHARE in Budapest, Hungary. It was a missionary education conference that gave us important information about schooling for our children. During this trip we had the unfortunate experience of losing one of our iPhones. This made the trip a little more challenging, but thankfully we had downloaded all of our photos off from the phone before we made the trip. So we didn’t lose those.

Thank you for your prayers and continuing support. We are honoured to pray for you too.

-Luke & Megan

Tai Chi for Beginners You are invited to join us on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm for a 40-minute warm up and workout. Come discover the flexibility that you can develop as you participate in this low-impact form of exercises.

Tax Help Clinic will begin this Saturday. If you know someone who is in a low income bracket and needs help filing their income tax return, we may be able to help. Speak with Chris Lai to learn more about making an appointment.

Sunrise Nursing Home is next Sunday. Plan to join our loving crew and share the joy of Christ in this great neighbourhood place.

Men’s Night Out: Dinner & A Movie Men of all ages are encouraged to reserve April 8th on their calendars. We will be sharing a time of fellowship and inspiration through an amazing barbecue dinner and a powerful movie, beginning at 6pm that evening. Invite a friend to come with you for this meaningful event.

Rides to Church One of our members is in need of a regular ride to and from church on Sunday mornings. Would you be available to assist by providing a ride one Sunday per month? Speak with Pastor Pryor today if you might be available to assist.
