Dear Milliken Church Friends,

Greetings from Thunder Bay!  Even from our cold winter city, our hearts are warmed whenever we think of you.  Your visits, prayers, and requests for updates always encourage us.  Thank you.

We look forward to the amazing changes that are in store for our church and community during 2017.  We are especially excited that several First Nations communities have contacted us to see if we can help them with some of their social and spiritual concerns.  We have an opportunity to help others across northwestern Ontario and to share the Gospel!  We do not understanding why God is opening these doors for us as a small congregation, but He is and we want to respond to those who struggle with poverty, substance abuse, violence, crime and hopelessness.  We press on, keeping in mind the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:40: “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me’” (NIV)

We are trusting the Lord to raise prayer support our goal of $15.000 in financial gifts to prepare for the opportunities before us.  Thank you, again, for your partnership with us.

Blessings to you in 2017!

Pastor Carl Edmonston
